Health and Physical Education
At Clayton View Primary School, our Sports and Health program is led by a specialist Physical Education teacher who provides engaging, skill-based lessons aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum. Students develop a strong foundation in fundamental movement skills such as running, jumping, throwing, catching, striking, and balancing before applying these abilities in team games and sports contexts.
Our program also supports the development of cooperation, leadership, and resilience, helping students understand the importance of fair play, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles. A highlight of the year is our much-loved Faction Carnival Day, featuring sprints, jumps, throws, and team games. Students also proudly represent our school at interschool sports carnivals, sharing in the excitement of competing with other local schools.
